As Director, Communications and Public Affairs of the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, Lana Wong plays a leading role in building, enhancing and protecting the reputation of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort in support of the company’s goals and development. She oversees the strategic development and implementation of communication, stakeholder engagement and community programs, as well as issues and crisis management.
Lana joined the resort as Director, Media Relations in 2008. Her portfolio was expanded in 2021 with the addition of corporate citizenship, a segment which is dedicated to bringing happiness, hope and comfort to those in need in the community – children and youth in particular.

Lana has extensive experience in journalism and media relations. She started her career as a journalist with the two leading English-language newspapers in Hong Kong − The Standard and South China Morning Post. Subjects she covered ranged from political news, social and security issues, to business news in Hong Kong and mainland China.

Prior to joining HKDL, Lana was the Chief Press Information Officer of the world-renowned anti-corruption agency, the Independent Commission Against Corruption, and was responsible for media relations and communications strategies, image building, crisis and issue management, and oversight of the development and implementation of publicity programs.

Lana holds a Master’s degree in Political Theory from Essex University, UK, and a Bachelor of Social Science (Hon) in Communications from the Baptist University of Hong Kong. She is also a graduate of the Breakthrough Program for Senior Executives of IMD, Switzerland.
