Currently the Head of PR and Publicity of the West Kowloon Cultural District, Diamond Cheng is a seasoned professional in communications and public relations with over 18 years of experience in the field. She expertises in media relations, publicity event planning and management, as well as stakeholder engagement, and had led the PR and Publicity team to strategically plan, manage and execute numerous high-sounding campaigns, include the grand opening of the Hong Kong Palace Museum and the launch of the first Hong Kong International Cultural Summit, successfully publicised the Authority’s strategic vision and corporate image locally, nationally and to the international world. 

Graduated with a Bachelor of English Journalism Degree at the Hong Kong Baptist University, Diamond started her career as a TV journalist in major TV stations in Hong Kong specialised in news features and documentaries production. She then entered the commercial field and accumulated years of experience working in various established corporates, namely Swire Properties on PR and media relations, crisis management and stakeholder engagement for its commercial and infrastructural projects in Hong Kong and Mainland China, and the Lan Kwai Fong Group reported directly to Dr Allan Zeman, the Chairman of the Lan Kwai Fong Group.
