For 33 years, Michelle Johnson has been a driving force at Niro Ceramic Group, leaving an indelible mark on the Malaysian tile industry. She spearheads strategic initiatives across Malaysia leading a team of 50 professionals.

In a traditionally male-dominated field, Michelle stands out as a visionary leader in fostering innovation. Her pivotal achievement includes the development of Niro Granite’s groundbreaking “Slip-Stop” tiles, the first in Malaysia, engineered with a specialised surface treatment to enhance safety in wet environments. Under her leadership, Niro Ceramic Group has expanded its product portfolio and extended applications beyond floor and wall coverings to countertops and furniture. Michelle also conceptualised the transformative 3D design service at Creative Lab outlets, empowering customers with rapid visualisation tools for their interior spaces. She strategically introduced the European brand Zirconio to the Malaysian market, creating a new market segment and driving demand.
