Margaret Chiu is the Head, PR and Publicity (Performing Arts) at the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (WKCDA), where she leads strategic communications and public relations for WestK Performing Arts. With a strong background in branding and marketing communications, she specialises in developing high-impact narratives that enhance the positioning and storytelling of arts and cultural programmes, while engaging diverse stakeholders and audiences, underpinned by a global perspective and an extensive international network across media, cultural institutions, and industry partners. She has contributed to the District’s high-profile initiatives, including the launch of WestK’s landmark venues such as the Hong Kong Palace Museum in 2022, Hong Kong International Cultural Summit 2024 and 2026, WestK Shanghai Week 2025, and the promotion of the acclaimed exhibitions and performing arts programmes on both local and international stages.

Prior to joining WKCDA, she was with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, where she led large-scale exhibitions, conferences, and brand promotion campaigns locally and internationally for Hong Kong’s creative industries. Her portfolio spanned major global platforms such as London Fashion Week and Tokyo Fashion Week, alongside projects across Europe and Asia, including the UK, Germany, Japan, and Southeast Asia.
