Eugene Lo is the Associate Marketing Director of the Hong Kong Arts Festival, where he leads digital marketing, social media marketing, web development, digital applications, ticketing and customer relationship management.
Eugene’s extensive experiences across the arts and culture, financial services, education, e-commerce and IT sectors during the past two decades have made him a leader in integrated marketing. Before joining the HKAF, he worked at the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hang Seng Indexes Co Ltd, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, ESDlife, Microsoft and the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.
Eugene has a proven track record in driving marketing campaigns, developing web content and videos for social media, designing the user experience for digital products, building digital promotional signage system and interactive kiosks, developing web, ticketing and payment applications, performing customer data analysis and datamining, as well as building strategic business partnerships.
As one of the pioneers driving the digital transformation of Hong Kong’s arts and cultural landscape, Eugene also drew on his extensive e-commerce experience in leading multi-channel marketing campaigns to acquire new audiences for the HKAF’s online video and multimedia performances in Hong Kong and Asia during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Eugene graduated from the University of Hong Kong’s Advanced Cultural Leadership Programme and received a Master of Information Systems from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Master of Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
