Hazel Ooi

Hilton
Hazel Ooi joined Hilton in 2017 as Director, Brand Marketing, Greater China & Mongolia and was appointed Director, Luxury & Lifestyle Brand Marketing Strategy, Asia Pacific in June 2019. In this role, she works with the global brand marketing team on brand positioning, leading the Asia Pacific marketing strategy development and delivering exceptional multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns, designed to build brand love.
Prior to joining Hilton, Hazel worked for 12 years at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, where she last served as Manager of Brand Management for Asia Pacific. She led the day-to-day brand management of Four Points by Sheraton, Aloft and Element in Asia Pacific, supporting all business functions to deliver unique and compelling branded guest experiences across all properties. In addition, Hazel developed and implemented marketing strategies, partnerships, promotions and events, to drive brand positioning, awareness and revenue to hotels for the three mentioned brands as well as for Sheraton and Westin. No stranger to the rapidly changing China market, she was based in Shanghai between 2010 and 2014 and took on various roles in the regional marketing team.
Hazel graduated from National University of Singapore with a degree in Economics and Statistics. She is fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
