Owen L. Cammayo

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI)

Owen is the Vice President and Head of Corporate Affairs of the BPI Group, looking after the articulation of strategic corporate messages to key stakeholders, and largely responsible for building, enhancing and safe guarding BPI’s overall reputation.

He serves as a trusted advisor and counselor to the CEO and the senior leadership team, leveraging key messages and relationships for greater control and consistency over BPI’s narrative.

Owen is also concurrently the Executive Director of BPI Foundation. He is a seasoned business communication practitioner with 24 years of solid experience in corporate affairs, including media, influencer, stakeholder and government relations, executive and internal communication, crisis communication, advocacy/ corporate social responsibility (CSR), social media and advertising acquired from leading global and local companies like Unilever Bestfoods, IBM, RWM, etc., representing both the client as well as agency side.

He maintains a strong network of strategic partners and influencers, from key media, government, non-profit organizations, and the academe.

Owen is an AB Communication Arts graduate with MBA units from the University of Santo Tomas.
