Philly Apthorpe is Head of Marketing & Events APAC within BNP Paribas’ Brand and Communications team, responsible for marketing, events, branding, advertising and sponsorship. Prior to this she headed up BNP Paribas’ Marketing, Communications and Events team for Global Markets and FIC APAC.

Philly started her career in advertising at J. Walter Thompson London, where she spent time in their PR, new business and account management teams. From there, she joined UBS and held a number of roles within the investment bank’s advertising, communications and marketing teams, before relocating to Hong Kong to establish and lead its APAC business marketing and client marketing strategy functions.
