Kimberly Hu is the Director of Membership & Marketing at Carlyle & Co., Rosewood Hotel Group’s latest brand of landmark private members’ club.
As Director of Membership & Marketing, Kimberly is charged with the establishment and execution of the membership strategy, including the overarching philosophy, the strategic direction regarding the development of the membership committee, founder member and full member acquisition phases, the mix of members to ensure the diversity vision and ultimately to achieve membership targets. She designed and implemented the marketing strategy for the launch of the first Carlyle & Co. to market in June 2021, which included establishing the strategic direction for social media, PR and communications as well as designing and launching the Carlyle & Co. website.
Kimberly started her career at Hong Kong Tatler magazine as an editor covering events, fashion and beauty. She left the magazine as Director of VIP Relations, Editorial and Events and in charge of identifying key personalities for the magazine’s covers and feature stories, and the planning and execution of the magazine’s coveted annual Tatler Ball. Following her seven-year stint at Hong Kong Tatler, Kimberly moved to French insurer, AXA, as the Head of Brand & Corporate Communications for the Asian Markets, which included China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Philippines, and Thailand. She was responsible for setting the Asia-wide brand strategy for AXA in Asia where she spearheaded the activation of AXA’s Liverpool Football Club sponsorship.
She holds a BA in Communications from the University of Southern California.
