Angie Chung is the Deputy General Manager of Central Market, Chinachem Group, where she has accomplished the launch and branding of the revitalized project in 2021 and currently as the overall management of the heritage building with core functions including marketing, leasing, F&B operations and facility management and successfully incorporated dining, shopping, placemaking, cultural & innovative activities with retail-tainment concept. The collective efforts with Urban Renewal Authority, architects, conservationists and cross business functions have turned the 80-year-old, Grade 3 Historic Building into a vibrant community hotspot that exemplifies the concept of a “Playground for All”.
Angie has a deep understanding of branding, marketing strategy, digital innovations, event & tenant management, customer experience, CSR and placemaking initiatives. Prior to her current position, Angie has held key marketing positions in corporates, including Sino Group, Link REIT, Swire Properties and Hong Kong Jockey Club. Another successful retail portfolio for her is to lead marketing team of the redevelopment project – Lee Tung Avenue which has launched its opening and curated various campaigns which were the talk of the town and obtained over 100 awards for the retail shopping street.
Angie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce major in Accounting and Marketing from the University of Sydney and Master of Business Administration from the Manchester Business School. She has been awarded as the individual winner of the HKMA/TVB Awards Marketing of Excellence, Vice Chairman of Institute of Shopping Centre Management and also members of Hong Kong Management Association and Hong Kong Institute of Marketing.
