Shirley Chiu

Fitch Ratings

Shirley Chiu is a Regional Head of Marketing at Fitch Ratings in Hong Kong where she oversees the marketing function of Fitch Ratings in the APAC region. She has overall responsibility for the firm’s regional marketing strategies covering sector and country programs, and promoting Fitch’s business including Fitch Bohua, domestic offerings in China, and Sustainable Fitch, ESG offerings.

Prior to joining Fitch in 2018, Shirley was the Director of Retail Marketing for APAC at CME Group for building their new business focus on retail segment across APAC region. She has over 23 years of financial marketing experience with CME Group and Standard Chartered, covering multiple functions – corporate and institutional, commercial and private banking. In her earlier career, she had been marketing learning and conference business in different media firms including Financial Times, The Economist and Euromoney.

Shirley holds a Master degree of Business Administration from the University of Hong Kong.
