A seasoned communications professional with 20 years of experience shaping narratives that connect the worlds of art and luxury with global audiences, Winnie Tang currently serves as Head of Communications, Asia at Bonhams. She leads PR strategies to elevate the auction house’s profile across the region, including overseeing the launch of Bonhams’ new APAC headquarters in 2024.

Previously, as Head of Communications, Asia at Sotheby’s, Winnie drove press and social media campaigns for record-breaking auctions and led high-profile projects featuring global icons such as acclaimed director Wong Kar Wai, K-pop star T.O.P., and Japanese designer NIGO. During her tenure, she shaped the brand’s positioning through transformative changes, notably during the pandemic, by positioning Sotheby’s as a pioneer in digital innovation. She also oversaw the integration of livestream auctions across platforms, expanding client engagement in a shifting market.
