Fann Yuen was appointed Group Own Brand Director in 2024, overseeing DFI’s Own Brand programme across food, non-food, GMS and health and beauty categories for Health & Beauty and Food formats.

Beginning her career as a food technologist and transitioning into marketing and branding, Fann now leads DFI’s highly successful Own Brand programme. With more than 28 years of experience in brand marketing and procurement, Fann has worked at various FMCG organisations, including Nestle, Fonterra and Yeo Hiap Seng, across the Asia Pacific region before joining DFI in 2011.

Fann and her team have achieved record-breaking successes at DFI, including the launch of Meadows, the relaunch of Yu Pin King and Vitapet Own Brand Programme. With more than 1000 product launches and winning more than 300 international quality taste awards, Meadows has become DFI’s No. 1 brand, leading in many categories.

Resetting health & beauty Own Brand strategy to Mannings Guardian brand is another breakthrough that Fann brings to the health & beauty Own Brand programmes, which leads to stronger brand value and customer trust, achieves lower costs through volume leverage & reduced production and stock days to drive higher profitability.
