Nic is an award-winning communications professional with over 15 years’ experience in social media, content and editorial. She has a passion for leading high-performing teams and making a meaningful difference to brands through the power of truly integrated social media executions.

Nic currently heads up social media for some of the world’s most popular travel brands including Wotif, Orbitz, Travelocity and Hotwire, overseeing a community of over 2.5 million travel lovers at Expedia Group.

She began her career in public relations, working agency-side before starting with Wotif as a PR Executive. Now in her twelfth year with the company, her role has evolved multiple times and she counts campaigns such as ‘The Next Big Thing’ as career highlights. This award-winning Social and PR led initiative saw Australian travel brand Wotif gift the regional Queensland town of Chinchilla its very own tourist attraction, the BIG melon. Not only did the campaign smash PR and Social records for the brand, ‘Melonie’ was mentioned not only in Parliament but also as a question on popular gameshow Millionaire Hot Seat.

Nic is the reigning Travel Weekly Women in Travel Awards Winner for Social Marketer of the Year. The team she leads for Wotif were also recognised at the Social Media Marketing Institute Awards as the Best Corporate Social Media Team in Australia in 2019.
