Joyce Yao

Director of Marketing Communications

Joyce Yao has over 18 years of experience working marketing and public relations role in the hospitality industry. She is someone with an insatiable hunger for marketing, creating compelling brand stories. During the span of her career, she has worked with established hospitality and F&B brands such as Conrad Centennial Singapore, Si Chuan Dou Hua, The Fullerton Hotel and Fullerton Bay Singapore.

In 2016, Joyce joined York Hotel Singapore as Marketing Communications Manager where she was responsible for championing all Marketing, Public Relations and Digital Marketing initiatives. In 2022, she assumed the role of Director of Marketing Communications where she directs the hotel’s marketing communications programme, social media engagement, partnerships and corporate identity programme.

Always with a thirst for knowledge, Joyce constantly seeks out opportunities to learn and apply her new-found knowledge in her professional journey. Joyce graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Media Management.
