Wendy is a passionate marketer with a track record in driving business goals through integrated marketing communications across digital channels, social media, advertising, partnership, events & CRM. Currently, she heads the Group Retail Banking Marketing of RHB Bank Berhad and is responsible for leading and driving the marketing initiatives across all consumer banking products to support RHB’s purpose statement of ‘Making Progress Happen for Everyone’.

Wendy brings with her over 20 years of advertising & marketing experience from being in the center of the creativity work in the advertising industry, to being at the forefront of product & marketing development in the Consumer Electronics industry, Telecommunications and subsequently in Financial Services for the past 8 years. Throughout her career, she has drove numerous award winning marketing initiatives that has successfully grow business results and market shares.

Prior to joining RHB, Wendy was heading the Emerging Affluent Marketing team at Citibank Malaysia. Before joining the Financial Services industry, she was with Digi Telecommunications leading the Internet team in Marketing Communications and also had a 2 year stint in the CRM, Loyalty & Rewards team. She also had a few years of experience as a product marketer in Sony Malaysia and as a Brand Executive in Leo Burnett Advertising at the start of her career.

An advocate of customer centric communications, she is passionate about leveraging on data to uncover consumer insights that could engage with the audience to create effective marketing campaigns, that would help to translate to high performing, sustainable business that brings value to the customers. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, cooking and hiking!
