Sharon is the Head of Communications & Government Affairs at Kimberly-Clark Malaysia where she leads the charge on corporate profiling, social impact, and sustainability. Sharon is instrumental in scaling the Kotex menstrual hygiene programme and is leading the work on tackling Period Poverty. In just two years, these efforts have reached hundreds of thousands of girls.

Sharon started her career in Public Relations at a local firm, working on a diverse portfolio of clients from retail and FMCG to pharmaceutical and finance. She later joined e-commerce platform, Shopee, where she climbed the ranks to lead the Public Relations, Government Affairs, and Events departments. There, Sharon developed PR and marketing activations that drove new user and seller acquisitions and shifted the public’s perception towards the industry whilst being recognized for its Covid-19 mitigation efforts.

Sharon graduated from the University of Malaya where she majored in English Literature and minored in Economics.
