Lai Shu Wei

Vice President & Head of Marketing
Telekom Malaysia

Lai Shu Wei is the Vice President & Head of Marketing for unifi Business in Telekom Malaysia. He leads unifi’s marketing strategy and initiatives, and is responsible for all broadband, mobile and converged products in the Consumer and SME segments.

Prior unifi, Shu Wei was the Chief Marketing Officer for webe digital, TM Group’s Digital Services Provider and Center of Excellence for Mobility and Digital, where he led a large team to build digitally-focused product marketing from scratch. Prior to that, he was Group Head of Marketing & Analytics for Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad; and served in Maxis Berhad as its Senior General Manager. He began his career in FMCG organizations such as Johnson & Johnson, Nestle and Lam Soon Berhad.

Shu Wei is an IMD Business School Graduate in Advanced Strategic Management in Lausanne, Switzerland and has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Tri-State University in Indiana, USA.

Shu Wei was also named the Malaysian CMO of the Year 2019 by Marketing Magazine.
