Ben Foo is the Group Chief Marketing Officer of Taylor’s University and Taylor’s College, leading Marketing, Digital, Tech, Communications, and Commercial strategies. Since joining in 2016, Ben has driven the overall marketing vision, enhanced brand equity, entered new international markets, and overseen initiatives promoting academic excellence and industry relevance. Under his leadership, the institutions have achieved significant milestones, including turning around the university and college, doubling enrolments and delivering outstanding financial performance. His strategic agility and innovative approach have elevated their global presence and student engagement through cutting-edge digital and experiential campaigns.

Ben has also built the Taylor’s brand beyond Malaysia, establishing a strong reputation in China, Indonesia, Japan, and the Middle East. With his team, ‘Taylor’sphere’ was coined to describe the unique ecosystem fostering student leadership success. From 2021 until recently, Ben held a dual role as President of Holiday Tours & Travel, and navigated the company through the pandemic, restructuring it for growth with renewed service offerings and improved systems.

Previously, Ben held senior roles at McDonald’s, where he introduced new revenue streams through Drive-Thru, McDelivery and extended business hours, contributing significantly to business growth and brand leadership. His accomplishments have earned him recognition as a highly respected mentor, marketing and business leader locally.
