Dennis Wu

Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra
Dennis Wu is an experienced administrator in performing arts, with particular focus on digital marketing. Appointed Director of Marketing of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra in 2022, he leads the marketing initiative of the orchestra, with a fresh retouch on the orchestra’s image offline and online.
Before working for the orchestra, Dennis has worked at the Hong Kong Arts Festival as associate marketing director for five years. During his tenure he oversaw the digital marketing initiative, transforming the strategy of digital campaigns with active engagements of data and sophisticated use of campaign tools, activation of cloud platform that enables CI/CD development paradigm and bringing new solutions of media delivery and technology.
Dennis is frequently demanded as speaker in talks and workshops, delivering an average of 40 talks a year in concert venues, lecture theatres, school halls and classrooms. His lecture series Journeys through Music, presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, focuses on composers and the historical contexts of music at the time, has run for eight weeks between 2013 and 2019, with warm receptions from a well attended audience. He is also currently an assessor at Hong Kong Arts Development Council.
