Hafiz is currently the Head of Group Corporate Communications at Sime Darby Property, Malaysia’s leading property developer. Prior to this, Hafiz spent over a decade in strategic communications roles at Sime Darby Group and Sime Darby Plantation, before leading the corporate communications team at UEM Edgenta.

His experience in strategic communications projects include the acquisition of Battersea Power Station in the United Kingdom, formation of Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care, acquisition of New Britain Palm Oil Limited, Sime Darby Oils’ brand activation, as well as the listing of Sime Darby Plantation to become the world’s largest listed plantations company, among others.

Hafiz graduated with a Bachelor of Information Systems from the University of Tasmania, Australia, majoring in Electronic Commerce and holds a Diploma in Information Technology from Universiti Tenaga Nasional, Malaysia. His other work experiences include early career stints with FedEx and Qinetics Solutions.
