Gigi Feng is Amgen’s corporate affairs lead for the Japan Asia Pacific region. With the mission to shape, drive, and enhance the Amgen brand and reputation across 14 markets in the JAPAC region, Gigi is responsible for strategic communications, including internal and external communications, issues management and philanthropy.

Before joining Amgen, Gigi held progressive China, Asia Pacific and global communications leadership roles at Sanofi over a four-year period, positioning the company as a scientific partner of choice. Prior to Sanofi, Gigi led the strategic communications group at APCO Worldwide in Shanghai, an international public affairs and strategic communications consultancy, with a focus on the healthcare and consumer sectors.

Gigi began her career in marketing with the Gillette Company in Boston and then moved to Shanghai to work at the U.S. Consulate General, where she managed employee communications and large-scale events. In this role, she helped coordinate visits to China by high-ranking U.S. government officials, including then-President Barack Obama’s historic first trip to the country in 2009.

Gigi is a bilingual speaker of English and Mandarin Chinese. She is a graduate of Cornell University in Government and Asian Studies. She also completed an executive education program in Business Strategy at the Harvard Business School.
