Michelle Cockrill is an award-winning marketing and communications professional. She joined BNP Paribas in January 2017 as Regional Director of Marketing and Communications for Securities Services in the Asia Pacific.

Most of her 20+ year career has been in the Asia Pacific region and is based in Singapore having worked in Hong Kong, Australia, New York, London and Paris previously. She has demonstrated her skill at applying relevant marketing and communications strategies in several industry sectors having worked for leading financial services, technology and retail brands. She is passionate about driving tangible business results by creating compelling marketing, communications and staff engagement programmes to support business objectives.

Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Michelle was Regional Head of Marketing and Communications for Lloyd’s where she significantly raised the quality of their marketing and communications activities to support Lloyd’s growing presence in the region. Her experience includes J.P. Morgan where she was responsible for internal and external communications and at United Technologies for ten years as Director of Marketing Communications in London, Sydney and Hong Kong.

Michelle is fluent in English and French and is the recent recipient of two awards for innovation and communications in recognition of her team’s marketing campaigns.
