His expertise spans public affairs, media relations, crisis communications, policy advocacy and stakeholder engagement. He is adept at handling business-critical issues, as well as assessing the impact of regulatory shifts and geopolitical events on the markets. Ivan\u2019s specialist knowledge of the fast-changing worlds of data privacy, cybersecurity and regulation informs his rigorous approach to formulating communications strategies.<\/p>\n

Ivan is currently the General Manager Group Public Affairs at John Swire & Sons (H.K.), driving the group\u2019s strategic communications objectives and engaging key stakeholders using a multi-channel approach. Before joining Swire, Ivan was Director at Brunswick Group and Head of Communications and Education at the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Hong Kong. He has also held communications positions at Cathay Pacific, Dragonair, The Link REIT and Towngas.<\/p>\n
