Viking brings over 15 years of diverse experience across the telco, tourism, e-commerce, food delivery, and social media sectors. He has a proven track record in steering business growth through advanced analytics. Within his first three months in the role, Viking significantly increased revenue in Vietnam, contributing to the company’s market share surpassing that of its competitors. This achievement led to his recognition as a top employee in the 1st percentile.<\/p>\n
Before joining TikTok, he was the APAC Head of Marketing Analytics at foodpanda, where he mentored a team of 20 data analysts. His strategic initiatives were crucial in reversing the trend of declining monthly active customers within just two months of his tenure. Prior to that, Viking was the Vice President of Marketing Analytics at Lazada. There, he developed user segmentation strategies that increased revenue by 25% during campaigns and authored the pivotal \u201cmillion-dollar SQL code\u201d for selecting the winner of Lazada\u2019s 11.11 condominium giveaway in 2021.<\/p>\n
Viking holds triple master’s degrees in Marketing from University College Dublin, an MBA from Murdoch University, and Business Analytics from the National University of Singapore.<\/p>\n
