Gerald has extensive experience across both the private and public sectors, including the airline, M&A, tourism, exhibitions, consultancy and education industries. He is currently director for brand, communications & group marketing at SIM Group, where he leads brand development, marketing strategy and corporate communications to strengthen the organisation\u2019s branding, market presence and stakeholder engagement.<\/p>\n
He has driven key initiatives such as SIM\u2019s rebranding, the launch of the SIM Future of Work Series, and the launch of the Centre for Systems Leadership, while positioning SIM as an industry leader.<\/p>\n
Previously, Gerald served as director of brand, marketing and recruitment at SIM Global Education (2017\u20132022), where he oversaw regional business development and led the establishment of SIM\u2019s first five overseas offices, teaching centres, and International Student Office in Singapore. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles with the Singapore Tourism Board, Sphere Exhibits Malaysia, and Qatar Airways Singapore.<\/p>\n
